I have a 1973 Evinrude 50 hp Lark that will somrtimes start and at other times will not. When it won't start it has no spark. I have looked at the wiring but with out a wiring diagram not sure what to look for. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
<br /><br />Check out the Neutral Start switch in your control, PJH. If it is loose or if the control is not centered in Neutral you will get intermittent loss of start and/or spark.<br /><br />I suggest that you get a manual.<br /><br />Good luck.
