Evinrude Model Number Decoder Ring.

Who wears the Decoder Ring for the evinrude model numbers around here??

There is a E70ELC1M 70HP 3cyl Evinrude outboard on a 16 or 18 footer that I am curious about (it's free to me). guessing 1970s? first though was 80s, but I am pretty sure its 1970s.

found it - looks to be a 1981 electric start 70HP

I new all of that except the date.
