it now has a nice hot blue spark form the plugs,it also sounds better then it did running on muffs..going to try to take her on the water here soon,but after idling her on the muffs for about 15 mins pulled the plugs and found them to be a bit oily,is this normal?also this are hte plugs that got fouled out a couple of times due to weak spark before i change the coils.But like i said even on the muff you can tell a diffrence in the way the engine runs.

Get that motor under load to get a fair assessment of how the sparkplugs are burning. Conventional 2-strokes are horribly inefficient burners at low speed. At max RPM they're actually quite efficient. Ideally you're looking for brownish sparkplug deposits with a slight oil sheen.
