I have a 2000 Johnson 25 horse outboard that's giving me problems, it is oil injected motor. The other day the motor just shut off when I was running 3/4 throttle, I started it up again and got to half throttle and it did it again. The motor seems to runs great if I'm trolling but when I get to half or more throttle the engine just shuts off, is there a safety feature shutting off the motor because it isn't getting any oil mixed with the gas? my oil resevoir is sitting at 3/4 full. Any help would be appreciated.
