Most of the factory OMC side mount throttle controls I have seen have the throttle lever on the left side. Can these controls be disassembled and the lever moved over to the right side?

If they are the controls I'm thinking about, then yes they can. Look on the other side of the box. If you see a splined tapered hole in the middle of the box you can put the handle on that side too. There will be a screw in there, usually allen head, Take that screw out, take a slender punch and put in the hole. Tap the punch with a hammer and your handle will come loose. Move the handle to that side and reattach.
