Was just going through carbs on my 86 225 vro, been having a problem when I start accelorating theres a 5-10 sec. period when it won't do anything, then the rpm start climbing as normal and runs great, I don't think this is the problem, but I'm curious if it's correct. All carbs have a #14 bleed orfice (jet) for the intermediate idle and a #20 for the Idle mixture. Except the # 1 carb, it has a #48 in the Idle mixture position, is this correct ? and what is its purpose ?? I had a post on 7-31 for the no throttle response but did not get any feed back- maybe this will give more info. Thanks in advance- ANY suggestions would help !!
