Sorry about asking so many questions on this forum, i'm a newbie, manual ordered already, just wanted to know before theweekend.<br />On my 1981 115hp Rude, when i shift from neutral to forward, the engine engages fine, but then i have to move the throttle to at least the half way point before it will increase the rpms. Is there and ajustment just inside the cowling to shorten the throttle cable for a quicker response?

Nope - The throttle cable also advances the timing. Take the cover off & take a look.
