rough running 1994 Evinrude 8 hp

We took the sailboat out yesterdaty for the first time. Motor started in two pulls and idles at the dock real smooth. I gave it a little gas and pulled away from the dock still running smooth as glass, Started down the channel gave it some more gas and it misfired and shook like mad. Gave it almost full throttle and it smoothed out again.<br /><br />It will not run good it the mid power range, where do I start to look?????

Coming back from our sail the wind dies and I motored at almost full power for a mile until I reached the channel. Then I had to slow down and it sputtered and shook, unless I was at very low power or very high power.<br /><br />could this possibly be a power pak issue???
