I have a 1992 Johnson 115 that chokes out in neutral when I rev it. It will start to rev out then makes a bunch of white smoke and stalls. Before I ran it I installed a new power pack, plugs, and wires. It ran fine in my driveway at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle for about 3/4 of an hour before I put it in the water. The primer bulb was not getting hard so I replaced most of the fuel lines and the bulb. It now will prime hard but it does not run if the water seperator is hooked up. Another weird thing: when I fill it with gas the gas backs up through the gas tube where I put the gas in and comes out of the overflow. It seems to run OK in gear as long as I keep it above Idle. It will get up and go. The problem is getting it out of the boat slip. Does anyone have any idea how I should go about correcting this problem. Any ideas or tests I can try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
