Tilt and trim

When I attempt to raise or lower the engine I don't hear the tilt motor run. Where are the relays located?TIA for any help.

Welcome!!<br /><br />They are right next to the gunauttin valve. You have to remove the thermal bearing cover to get to them though. Be sure to mark the wires to the outer anthem coupler. Dont wanna get those mixed up.<br /><br />Seriously -- tell us what motor you have. Different motors have different locations for them.

Yup, Ibet that would have been a good idee. It is a 1997 Johnson 175. Thanks for taking it easy on a newbie.
