Is it black or green? For some reason, the 1976 coil assemblies have different part numbers (582091 vs 582160) The 73-75 115 and 135 used the same coils.
from 1973-1975 all of the coils were the same and green in color. The 1976 115 came out with black coils but the after-market replacements are the same as the 1973-1975. The 1976 135 definitely had a coil with a different part number but I don't think they were green either.<br /><br />Bottom line is I would not take the chance that the part is interchangable unless someone like Joe Reeves said it was. <br /><br />You can check out a replacement part here: <br /> Coils
