Hello again folks. After repairing trailer finally put boat to water and have a few questions. After re connecting throttle to top carb unit goes rather well on simms super v!. Probs occured when trying to get back on trailer - unit starts ok when hot but stalls when gear engaged.<br />Also realise now that manual tilt is only half there - unit can be locked in the up position for transport, but when lowered on the hydraulic shock, it just sits against bottom pin under gravity. this works ok but should it lock in position? thanks

It should lock in place. I'm pretty sure the tilt up and down locks are handled by the same lever. Must be something bent, broken, or missing.<br /><br />Any chance you can leave it running until it's on the trailer? Sounds like you need a few more idle RPMs. How's the gas in the UK?
