I know I have asked this before, but need a little more help than I thought, sorry. In the below picture, you can see that my "start" is not lined up at neutral like I think it should be, how can I adjust this? As a result, when throttle at WOT, my throttle arm ( I think its called) is NOT pushing the roller down all the way. Believe it or not, I looked in my manual (seloc) and couldnt find how to do it!

1983 200hp Johnson.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
Scott

Re: Cam adjustment

I believe the start line you are refering to is where the throttle should advance on full fast idle lever lift. The other line is the neutral centerline for the roller adjustment.Roller should be on center and just touching.Pic shows it to be a bit out of adjustment from my view.

Re: Cam adjustment

Can't see the whole pic,but it looks like the screw right next to the roller.Loosen it off and you should be able to position the roller. It may also entail some adjustment of the cable trunion to achieve dead center and I stress,"just touching".
