Points, condensers, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, coil. That about covers the ignition system. Could be any of the above. Probably more than one of the above. Pretty straight forward double points system. One step above stone axes and clubs. But they put out one helluva strong spark when all is right. Getting them timed and synchronized can be done with the help of a good manual. If you're going to be using and maintaining that classic, buy a manual. They sell them here on iboats. Otherwise your public library might have one.
