Hi i'm the proud owner of a 1959 seahorse, model qd20 and i'm looking for the carburator glass bubble. cannot seem to have any dealer in my part of the country willing to order it for me!!<br />The engine was found seized in the garbage, after fiddling with it i got the seized piston out and changed the rings!! ha ha!!everything is fine except for the darn glass bubble!!<br />Please help me! so eager to ear it running!!

i would try a napa or if it is a filter buy a different one

Try a search for TwinCity Outboard trognon. They can help.

Also try to find out where old outboards are junked locally. They would have dozens of them.<br /><br />I usually drop mine on a concrete floor. What happened to yours? :)

I tried to unscrew it from socket!!<br />To my surprise i found out it wasn't screwed at all!! just stuck on gasket but it was too late, a good pair of pliers and crack it was over!!lol!!

you can buy parts for this motor @marineengine.com
I just bought new parts for my QD-20 carb and was very pleased

Considering he was looking for it 7 years ago, I think its safe to say he figured it out by now?? :)
