evinrude outboard and steering?

I have a 1986 30hp evinrude and a carolina skiff. I just had the center console installed with teleflex steering. I have to pick up the boat tomorrow and I just want to know how hard it is to hook up the steering? I have the steering rod that hooks to the motor. I will not be hooking up the controls yet since I still have to buy them. What do you think?

It's not hard and if you have a few basic tools you can do it.

i installed the same telaflex steering system , rack & pinion , it was easier then i thought it was going to be.the cable is already to go,, it bolts to the steering coulum.. at the other end the motor,,, just a eye connection or screws on ,, it will be simple ello
