I have removed the oil injection system on my johnson 25hp three cylinder model j25tel3ss. My question is what to do with the three wires that sensed low oil and overheat? Two tan and one black (they went into the oil tank)

Re: disabled oil injection

I'm not familiar with oil injection systems and I don't know the circuitry, but the easy answer is to find out what state the wires are in (12V,GND,other...) and hard wire them to that state. This info could possibly be found in users manual. Chances are the (the low oil sensor) wires make continuity through the oil in the tank and when it falls below the level it opens the circuit. My guess would be to just leave the overheat circuit in operation.
