Hi there, I have a 1998 Evinrude 150 FICHT and am not getting any spark. Great compression and fuel is getting to the cyliner, but no spark.<br />Where should I start, and please not the "throw it in the trash answer"
Before running to the shop let start small.<br /><br />Check your kill switch for broken wires and make sure the switch is working good. <br /><br />Do this by removeing the lanyard and manuely pushing the switch open and close. <br /><br />I'm not sure about that year but look for any fuses. <br /><br />Its always better to do all you can before takeing it to a shop.<br /><br />Did this just happen? Did your boat sit for a while?<br /><br />I would invest in a manuel.
