Hello, <br />I'm buying a boat with twin 2000 johnson 115 engines (J115VLSS).<br />As a first time boat owner, anything I should know about these engines? :confused: Thanks in advance.

OMC V4s have been great motors since the first 50 hp came out in 1958 (I think). OMC had some severe quality problems in 1999 & 2000 particularly with the FICHT V6s. As with any motor they require care and feeding (routine maintenance) to live a long life.
