Hi,
I have a Evinrude 110 hp, -89.

It seems as two of my cylinders are failing, the two lower ones(#1, #3 I think). I didn't find any old posts on troubleshooting this. Where do I start?

Start with what those two cylinders have in common, Asok. The carb.

First verify what you have concluded. Check for spark on all four. You probably have it.

Then squirt some premix into the bottom carb. If the bottom two suddenly start for a few seconds you have a gummed up bottom carb.

Good luck. :)

Well, I just recently cleaned both carbs, so they should clean as a babys bottom. But I'll try that anyway. Do the two lover cylinders have anything else in common?

Let me be a bit more precise, there are no spark on the two lover cylinders.

That info would have helped, Asok.

If there is no spark, troubleshoot the ignition system according to the Manual.

Good luck. :)
