Morning, I'm french so excuse my bad english !
My problem is that my 6 sparks on my 225hp v6 from 1991 are fouled when I run on iddle position. The carburator type are with 3 orifices two air orifices one iddle and one intermediate and one fuel orifice for high speed. My engine doesn t work good until 2600 rpm ( I thing that all the cylinder are two rich) and after 3000 rpm it run well. The iddle timing is good 6° after high position of cylinder one, Spark champion new, wires news and I check with a stromboscopique lamp that all the cylinder have ignition. The floater is right on the carburators .News gasket fuel ok. I try without the VRO pump with a can of 2 % oil fuel, but same problem. Recirculation OK vacum switch new, Starter solenoid rebuild and ok.
The only thins that it is like the book says is the size of intermediate orifices. OMC says 55 is the right size but my engine is fitted with 47.
But if I put 55 Could you confirm that the mixture will be more rich ?
And also if somebody could told me untill witch rpm the intermediate orifice works ?
One more thinks on iddle position I use 2.5 gallons per hour.
Thanks for your help :) .... to a lose french guy
