We are looking into buying a Tiara, anywhere from a 32 to a 38. We have been looking at the ads on the web. We know these are well built boats. One question , does anyone have any idea to why there are so many for sell?? Is there any problems ??? .

Re: Tiara

does anyone have any idea to why there are so many for sell?? Probably because they're so expensive. Harder to justify ownership.

Is there any problems ??? Not that I'm aware of, except for fuel tank corrosion on older models (which is common with most boats). Tiara's are built like tanks.

My advice- if you can afford a Tiara, go for it. IMO they are the "Rolls Royce" of boats. Hire a marine surveyor for the prepurchase survey and negotiate the best deal based on his findings.

Re: Tiara

Same reason there are so many Sea Rays for sale. This can be a trophy purchase. And trophies that aren't used much get old. Time for some other trophy.

Kelly Cook
