Re: poling platforms
i saw one last weekend that was made from 3/4" aluminum square tubing and then primed and painted. the top platform was made of that "starboard" material. it was very light weight and only cost the guy a fraction of the "real" ones to build himself.<br /><br />all was held together with simple stainless nuts, bolts and screws.<br /><br />i thought it looked real nice. you couldnt even tell it was home maid till we got about 10 feet away from his boat!!<br /><br />if you do this, show us some pics.
