hi all -

Yesterday I took my 14' flat aluminum out to the open sea from port everglades inlet - it was amazing...jumping high waves...COOL!!! (yes i know i'm crazy) anyways...when i was coming back the the acceleration was good but the motor has no torque, like if it was rinning out of the water, or taking air..or like if it had debris on it...(you know when you accelerate and it doesn't run very good) at low speed it was fine but when i tried to go faster it would accelerate but not run fast...I also checke the prop ad it was fine...then I came back...waited a little bit..then when I ran it...it was fine..but a few minutes later....it started happening again....What could it be?
please help

If you're saying that the engine races away to a high rpm and the boat slows down, either the prop hub is slipping or the prop is breaking out of the water.
