Yes jimmbo's right. You're going to have to remove the whole motor to get the bracket off to either replace it or try welding it. It's a pain but you want to make sure it's done right. You don't want to go Johnson fishing later.

If the motor goes overboard when the other side breaks consider yoursekf lucky. That sucker will still attached to the boat by the control cables, the electrical harness and fuel line. More offen than not it trashs around and leaps into the boat, not a good thing seeing a prop at WOT in your boat. Get it fixed.
