kill switch on a 1993 8 hp johnson

I have this motor which is new to me, and i cant finde a kill switch, i have been using the choke to shut it down. Should there be a switch on this model #j8RLETB.thanks. J.C.

Look on the end of the tiller handle. Don't know for sure on your motor, but a bunch of motors had it there.

There is a turn nob on the end of handle but it seems to ajust the motor idle only thanks for the reply. J C.
