I think the power pack on my engine, a 1986 140 hp johnson is acting up.It sometimes doesn't want to run at full rpm and after some persistence it runs fine exept for a small misssfire here and there. I also noticed some smoke coming from power pack and when I touched it, it shocked me. New boater somewhat mechanically inclined.Fuel cheks out good, have good compression, plugs and wires.How do I trouble shoot it or test it? Could the stater be bad also?
