Motor only tilts up will not go down.Can hear tilt moter run in both directions.Worked when we put it up last season . STEVE

Hi Steve. Welcome to the iboats forums.<br /><br />Have you checked the TNT fluid level in the reservoir? Don't forget to do this with the engine tilted all the way up.<br /><br />You may also raise it all the way up and use the manual release to drop it a couple times. You may just have a stuck valve in the the pump unit.<br /><br />When trying to run the engine down, have someone gently push down on the motor. This may also free a stuck valve.<br /><br />Keep us posted.....thanks.

Thanks for the reply I did try to push the motor down, that did not work .Were is the manual release ? Steve

Look at the starboard transom bracket. There will be a hole there and if you look inside the hole you will see a slotted screw head. With a screw driver, turn the screw head counter clockwise two turns. This will let the engine down. Don't forget to tighten it back up.
