hey guys, the bracket broke on the left side of the motor. its kind of hard to explain, the bracket sticks up off the transom about 2 inches and it broke right under where it turns. can it be welded or do i need to replace the whole thing.thanks.

i would go and buy a new one because it might be more to weld it then to but a new one that is what i think.

welding would be free.a buddie of mine is a welder with his own shop. and buying a new one would mean takeing a lot of stuff apart.if it were welded would it still be as strong as it was?and can it be welded?
