adding a tell tale

1972 evinrude 50hp with hydro-crapmatic shift :) <br />i bought a replacemnet exhaust cover, the outer one, from a gentleman onebay and it was from a late 70's and has a tell tale already installed, it bolts up perfect to my block, but i havent started it yet as i still need the inner exhaust cover plate.<br /><br />if i use this , will i be able to have a tell tale like all the new kids?<br /><br />and if you got that darned thing i need, please email me, i cant find em anywhere?<br />mikey<br /><br />m ikey

Hi, do you know which other engines have this same size exhaust? I have a 1978 60 hp I would be happy to send you if you pay shipping. I want to make sure it will fit first.<br />steve
