Thanks to everyone who gave me advice. I bought the 1985 Johnson 140 for a great price and it runs perfectly. I did find some corrosion on the swivel bracket and steering arm and was wondering if a setup from a 87 Johnson 90 would fit? Swivel bracket, tilt/trim motor leg etc. I guess I could just run the thing like it is but figured it would be easier to clean/paint/swap parts before I mount it.
