I am having a problem with the trim going in the direction I initiate, but not stopping. The pump will run continously with the motor completely raised or lowered, until I disconnect the battery. It responds in the right direction, but will not stop in either direction. I have had solenoid problems in the past, but on those occasions it would not respond at all. I have trim stations at the bow, controller, and on the motor. Somebody told me it may be the limiter switch, but I have no idea where that is located or how to test it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Does it continue to run regardless whether you are operating the engine switch or the control switch?I'm thinking you have a problem with one of your tilt switches sticking. The tilt limiter is located at the front of the engine on the steering tube and limits the amount that the engine will tilt "up" to prevent damaging the boat or any fixtures.
