I have a 2001 150 Johnson carb ocean pro. Has about 300 hours on it so far. This season a problem has just started and need suggestions on what may be the problem. Engine cranks and runs fine at cruise, but for slow, just in gear speed, the engine will run rough and will often die. The bulb is very soft when you squeeze it after the engine has died. The engine will crank back up fine and if you run it above 2000-2500 RPM for a minute or two, then it will run ok for a little while at the just in gear speed, then after a while it dies again. This is a big problem for me in that where I fish you drift and then need to motor back as quite as possible, so reving up to higher RPM is not an option. Any thoughts on what may be causing this? Thaks.

Fred
