Howdy Dredlus and welcome to ibpoats.<br /><br />Now,
stop shifting "slowly". <br />When shifting into forward or reverse, shift with authority. Jam it into gear quickly. That grinding noise you hear is the clutch dogs eating themselves up. If you've been shifting "slowly" for some time, change your gear lube and you'll see metal shavings which are the scraps from the clutch.
