Will a '96 150 lower unit fit a '98 175 Evinrude

I have a '98 Evinrude 175 Intruder that the lower unit has went out on. I have found a '96 Johnson faststrike 150 lower unit and I was just wondering if anyone knew if this lower unit would bolt up and work with my '98 175. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Probably, I put a 98 ficht lower unit on my 95 150 intruder. The only difference was that clam shell water pickup in the bottom of the lower unit.
