rectifier getting hot at starting

Is it normal for the rectifier to be warm when cranking the engine for about 10 secs. I noticed the terminal block connector hot and felt of the rectifier and it's pretty warm. Wondering if that's normal or maybe a problem? thanks for your help.<br />Knob

Electrical heat is caused by either resistance or overload. Check and clean every wire connection on that motor including the cables at the battery.
