I have a 1976 Johnson 35 hp Seahorse. Last year prior to late fall I could get 30 mph. Now I can only get 10 mph. Everything else on the motor runs good. What do I need to Check? :confused: NEED HELP.

I am new on owning boat. How do I go about checking the spark on both cyclinders? If I don't have spark on one or both of the cyclinders, What is the corrective action?<br /><br />Assuming I do have spark on both cyclinders, what else could check? <br /><br />Thanks

As you're likely to do some servicing and maintenance on this motor, a manual is a must and will pay back several times.<br /><br />There is a link on this page.
