I used to have an Evenrude 85 on a 15' Ranger Bass Boat, I changed the lower unit oil to Amsoil synthetic, and used the 100:1 synthetic 2 cycle oil at 80:1. I picked up 300 RPM and it was the fastest 85 HP on the Lake! I ran the He*l out of that motor, WOT everywhere I went for two years and it had a lot of hours on it when I got it! Any TCW-3 2 cycle will work, but it will love the 80:1!!
