Hello, I want to uprade my prop but the problem is I don't know what size I need to buy and what size would be the best for my 1979 evinrude 55hp outboard (model 727) any help would be great! :D

i have a 79 55 hp don realy know the size of the prop . it is the one that came on the boat. it i on a 15 ft bumble bee . the pitch will depend on what you are wanting to use the boat for . and the kind of boat it will be run on . to low of pitch could run engin ovwr w o t rp m . should be 5500 at w o t . mine is probabley 13 0r 14 inch pitch . it runs fastenough for me so i dont think of changing a 300.00dollar prop . it will stay with a 50 hp 1998 mercuray with a 13 inch pitch prop . papasage
