You answered your own question. Except I dont see RDL in the book. Is it RDSL? L=long shaft (20"transom), S=electric start. RDL would mean long shaft with recoil start. I've never seen one, but I suppose it isn't impossible. The S at the end seems odd, unless somebody added electric start to a recoil model and added the S themself. Otherwise, letters at the end usually mean a variation within a model year. RDL would also mean it was a tiller model. S models were the remote control models. I don't think they made tiller models with electric start, although you could get a kit.

Thanks mate so I take it is a 1968 I was going to hit you with a heap of questions but Ive seemed to have sorted it out, goes like a bullet and only cost $50.00 from a marine shop up here.Thanks again.

Can't beat the price for a running motor! You'll spend more for gas in the first few months. Have fun with it!
