What year is my outboard?

Can anyone please tell me what year my outboard is? The numbers on the plate are G7461581 and J225TXCUV. I am wondering because my starter went. Also does anyone know where I might find a re-built one on the web? Thank you.

Hi Terrapin...<br /><br />Your engine is a 1987.<br /><br />Check Iboats store for a starter. Below is a run down on the part number change.<br /><br />Original PN..396235...then went to 584799..586289..586411..586731 this being the latest part number.
