My 1990 Evinrude 50HP VRO Wont Tilt. Do I Need New TT Motor

I am looking at the ARCO 6220, but I cant find where it says if it will fit a 50HP outboard. Does anybody know? Also are there pistons in the outboard? Please help

In what aspect of motion is the trim motor not working??? Any sound?? Clicking, whinning?????<br />And, what are you refering to as "pistons"? :) <br />The Arco 6220 replaces the Bosch heavy duty, has a flat flange with 3 bolt holes, is for a 2 wire connection, and has a shaft simular to a screw driver-it has a tang that fits the slot on the pump.... :)
