I have a 1996 Evinrude 50-60 bobs-mail@earthlink.net
 • Hp with oil injection. Oil leaks into cylinders between uses. Makes it difficult to start and takes a long time to clean up. What is an easy solution?
Thanks,
bobew

bobew,

Oil is not leaking into your cylinders. A mixture of fuel/oil is puddling in the crancase due to, probably, leaking needle(s)/seat(s) in your carburetors.

You're probably due for a carb. rebuild.

Or

Are you in the habit of d/c your fuel line and running the engine out of gas?

TMD
