Proper way to jump start 2 stroke

60 hp johny 1989 I have a bad connection I think on my pos side between the batt to starter.What is the proper way to jumpstart.When I pull start the motor then the key will crank it.What is the proper way to jumpstart?????

Hi, Joe.<br /><br />The proper thing to do is fix your electricals.<br /><br />Remove and clean the terminals on the battery to solenoid, solenoid to starter and battery to engine block cables.<br /><br />Check battery voltage when starter is engaged. If it drops below 9v, recharge or replace it.<br /><br />Good luck. :)
