I would like to know the year of my Johnson engine model: jw15 <br /> serial: 274374 (the last digit is a 4 or a 5)<br />Thank<br /><br />p.s. This is a 15hp engine and it has an electric starter

Thank for the reply but i think i forgot a fiew details in my first question.<br /><br /> The engine is a 15 hp and it can have an electric starter install on it.<br /><br />Johnson engine model: jw15 <br />serial: 274374 (the last digit is a 4 or a 5)

johnson model# JW15 is a 1959 3hp as Hooty said.<br />recheck your model number if you feel it's a different motor. good luck.
