I finally figured out how to drop the lower unit. I anticipated finding a cracked useless impeller, but it looks OK(no cracks, still fits tight). I think the two short tubes that are fitted onto the water pump housing are not fitting tight enough to the water feed tubes going up to the engine. Is this something I could put an o-ring on or RTV to help seal?
