year of my Johnson?

I have a Johnson 85 electromatic and would like to find out what year it is, the model# is...<br />VAAL20A and the ser. # is...J2883651. Can someone please let me know what year this is? <br />Thanks...Merlyn

I think your "A" key got stuck there. However a V4AL20 would be a 1968 model 85hp Johnson.
