2000 Johnston sea pro 90 HP

I think that I may have mixed too much oil in my gas. Will this harm my engine in the future?<br /> On a recent fishing trip in the gulf I stoped to check the gas and some how I managed to disconnect the gas line. When the motor ran out of gas, it would no longer start for a long time. I ****, because we were 7 miles out and not exacley around any rigs yet. After trying numerous things I finally pumped the ball very hard and a spert of oil shot out in to the water around the back of the engine. What happened? Is this a result of inproper fuel mixture? What is the proper mixture? If I did mix improperly, what should I do to correct the situation besides the obvious, geting the mixture right. <br />Also I have a galon of quick silver that I found in my shed I guess that it is 6 years old. Is this oil still good to use? It doesnt have an expiration date.

If you use pre mix the mixture is 50:1. If you have a VRO, it determines the mixture. On the old oil - - If it is TCW3 you can use it just like a gallon bought yesteday.
