I am trying to disassemble my Power Head the Motor is still on the Boat and bolted to the lower unit. I have the Carburetors, The Intake Manifold and the Reeds :D off but I cannot figure how to get the Crank Cover off I need to access the Crank to remove one of the Connecting rod / Piston assembles.

You must first remove the powerhead from the adapter plate/exhaust housing on which it sits. The powerhead must be off and on the workbench.

I would definitely get a manual before going any further. If you're having trouble getting the powerhead off now, you'll be neck-deep when you get inside... Manuals are CHEAP! Broken parts are not!<br />- Scott
