old evinrude id./piston froze

could you id. the yr&hp.info on tag is 4348-00944 also says canadian patten 1936.now can you advise me how to getthe piston unfroze from the cylinder wall,thanks much

Looks like a 1940 2HP 'Rude. I'd start soaking the cylinder with PB Blaster and giving it plenty of time to work etc.
